La Caperucita Roja

This term, Year 3 have been learning about Little Red Riding Hood in Spanish and acting out parts of the story. They have been learning the words for different body parts in Spanish, practising the Spanish equivalent of 'Heads, Shoulders, Knees and Toes', learning words for different jobs or relationships, (e.g. los padres) and having to listen and understand the story read aloud in Spanish. They have been practising their listening, reading, speaking and writing skills, as well as some fabulous acting. They have loved being wolves, woodsmen, grandmas and Little Red Riding Hood herself! 

I think some of the children have a bright future as an actor ahead!
