Mother's Day Stitching

With Mother's Day around the corner, we were excited to share a special sewing project that Year 4 will be working on in their DT (Design and Technology) classes. This project will not only allow the children to express their creativity but also to practise their sewing skills. 

On our open morning, we welcomed our Mums to help us with our basic sewing techniques like the running stitch and back stitch, which are perfect for beginners. These stitches are fundamental in sewing and will give our students the confidence to handle more projects in the future. It was a delight (and such a big help) to welcome so many Mums, Aunts and Nans to the classroom to help launch this new DT project.
