Our First Week in the EYFS!

What an amazing first week it has been for our wonderful new EYFS children. They have settled in so beautifully, coming in with big smiles in the  morning and playing so cooperatively with their new peers. We have seen an immense amount of kindness, turn taking and sharing this week. The children wowed me on Thursday when they came together as a full class for the first time! 

This week we have been settling in to school life, getting used to the routines and rules as well as exploring our inside and outside learning spaces! We have done some short carpet sessions, including reading our school rules daily and singing the days of the week song. We are so excited for the year ahead!
